Senior Java Developer

Day rate: £450/day Outside IR35

Location: Central London, Hybrid (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Contract Length : 4 Months

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join an insurance client.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience in event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud-based platforms such as AWS.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot is essential.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications that align with business goals.
• A strong understanding of modern software practices and coding standards is required.
• As part of an agile team, collaboration and communication skills are essential, ensuring seamless integration of services and effective problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with RESTful API development, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines will be highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and cloud-native development is also desirable.
• Security best practices and performance optimisation should be second nature when developing scalable and resilient systems.
• Candidates with a background in product-focused or scale-up companies will stand out.
• Python experience would be a valuable bonus.
