Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Engineer

Salary range: £80-£115k

Location: Fully remote (potential x2 days per week in Liverpool Street office from summer 2025)

Tech stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Azure, IBM Cloud (+ Go for payments)

We're working with a scaling Fintech company building the platform that automates the entire accounts payable process and also a successful supply chain finance platform. They are looking to build out their core engineering team by adding three senior full stack JavaScript engineers.

Essentials for this role:

• 8+ years Full Stack experience - React, TypeScript, Node.js (flexible for the right candidate)
• Cloud deployment experience - AWS/GCP/Azure (we use Azure + IBM Cloud)
• Regulated environment background - fintech, financial services, or pharma experience
• Startup/scale-up experience - comfortable shipping products autonomously in fast-moving teams
• Product collaboration - worked directly with PMs to deliver end-to-end solutions
• T-shaped engineer - strong across the full stack with deep expertise in specific areas
• Technical leadership - provide direction without needing a formal management title
• MongoDB experience - comfortable with document databases (we're planning a relational DB migration in 12-24 months)

Bonus if:

• Go experience (our payment system uses it)
• Experience migrating from NoSQL to relational databases
