Senior FIX Connectivity Specialist

A leading financial services firm is looking for a senior FIX Connectivity specialist to manage client onboarding, support and ongoing development of its electronic trading connectivity.

Experience Required.
Strong background as a FIX protocol subject matter expert within trading or investment banking. Experience managing the full client onboarding life cycle, from initial contact through to live setup. Experience providing production support on electronic trading platforms. Strong problem solving skills, able to handle bespoke client requirements. Comfortable managing multiple onboardings and issues at once. Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team. Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors

Key Technical Skills.
FIX Protocol, including certification, onboarding and message handling. Experience with FIX engine platforms. Python or Perl Scripting for automation. Unix/Linux environments. Knowledge of equity trading workflows. Agile and software development life cycle exposure
