This role involves a significant amount of project management aimed at improving patient pathways, service delivery, and patient experience. You will work closely with senior leadership and Heads of Service across the trust and wider system to ensure efficient and standardised automation support.
Main duties of the job
- Performance Management: Ensure the delivery of key performance indicators for the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team, aligning with divisional and organisational goals, including national targets like 18-weeks Referral to Treatment and cancer performance.
- Data Analysis: Use multiple IT systems to analyse and interpret complex data, create performance reports, and act upon them.
- Reporting: Deliver analysis reports, implement and monitor departmental procedures, and liaise with other management groups to ensure processes meet organisational needs.
- Communication: Provide complex or sensitive information to various audiences within the Trust, tailoring reports to relevant needs.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards and quality within the RPA team, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Target Monitoring: Monitor access and waiting times targets daily, implementing remedial plans to avoid breaches.
- IT Systems Development: Assist in developing IT systems to identify and validate long waiters, ensuring patients are booked according to need and compliance with Trust policies.

Job responsibilities
- Operationally responsible for delivering key performance indicators for the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Evidence of management development.
- Evidence of CPD.
- Formal project management qualification.
Experience
- Track record of participating and achieving significant changes.
- Operational problem solving.
- Contribution towards service development.
- Knowledge of national key performance indicators.
- Experience of demand and capacity planning.
- Experience of line managing staff.
- Experience of working in an Acute NHS Trust.
