IT Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support within a school environment in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern technologies and support a growing IT infrastructure that underpins teaching and learning.

£25,000 - £30,000

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer and maintain the school's IT systems and network.
• Support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and audio-visual equipment.
• Ensure users are kept informed throughout the resolution process.

Skills & Experience

Experience supporting some of the following technologies:

• Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
• Microsoft Server 2019 / 2022 / 2025
• Wired and wireless networks, firewalls, and content filtering
• PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and AV systems

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Logical problem-solver with a proactive approach.
• Passionate about technology and helping users of varying technical abilities.
• Relevant IT qualifications are advantageous.
