Sales Development Representative (SDR)

A well established marketing technology company is looking to recruit a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its growing sales team based in Harrow, London.

This organisation develops and delivers email marketing and digital communication platforms used by organisations across the UK and internationally. With more than 20 years of success in the market and a strong reputation with recognised brands, the company continues to expand its commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in technology sales, business development, or SaaS sales. The role will focus on generating new business opportunities and booking qualified meetings for the senior sales team.

Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with experience in sales, telesales, telemarketing, lead generation, or customer facing roles who want to move into the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and research potential new clients and key decision makers
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and email outreach
  • Book qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations for the account management team
  • Build relationships with marketing and technology professionals across different organisations
  • Maintain an organised and accurate sales pipeline within the CRM system
  • Send professional and concise follow up emails to prospective clients
  • Support account managers with follow up sales activity
  • Maintain high levels of daily call activity and lead engagement
  • Provide regular updates on activity, pipeline, and meeting generation
Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills
  • Confident speaking with business professionals and decision makers
  • Strong written communication and email skills
  • Self motivated with a positive and proactive approach
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple leads and conversations
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Experience within sales, telemarketing, lead generation, inside sales, or business development would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Salary and Benefits
  • Basic salary £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
