Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join a respected independent school in Central London providing first and second line IT support across a modern Microsoft 365 environment while supporting classroom technology and AV systems used in teaching and events. This Technical Support Engineer role offers a varied technical environment and the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative IT team supporting staff and students.

£35,000 - £38,000 per annum | London | Permanent

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second line IT support for users across hardware, software and accounts
  • Resolve incidents through the helpdesk ticketing system and maintain accurate records
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and user access issues including MFA and password resets
  • Troubleshoot Windows, macOS and iOS devices
  • Support classroom technology including interactive displays and AV systems
  • Assist with AV setup for lessons, events and presentations

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in a Technical Support Engineer or IT Support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS or iOS devices
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365
  • Experience using IT service desk tools
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
