Sales Operations | Commercial Excellence | Process Improvement
Are you a commercially minded Sales Operations leader who thrives on improving processes, driving efficiency and making businesses run better?
We're looking for an experienced Business Enablement Manager to take ownership of a key Sales Operations function within a dynamic, service-led business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves bringing structure to complexity, turning data into meaningful commercial insights and ensuring sales teams have everything they need to succeed. You'll play a pivotal role in connecting Sales, Operations, Finance and other key business functions, helping to improve revenue visibility, streamline commercial processes and ensure a seamless customer journey.
This isn't a direct sales role - It's about creating the systems, processes and operational excellence that enable commercial teams to perform at their best.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading Sales Operations: Take ownership of the Business Enablement function, managing and developing the team while driving high standards of operational support.
- Driving Commercial Performance: Deliver insightful sales reporting, pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting and performance dashboards to support better business decisions.
- Improving Processes: Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, introduce automation and remove inefficiencies across the sales operation.
- Owning CRM Excellence: Champion data accuracy, reporting quality and effective CRM processes to ensure reliable commercial information.
- Supporting the Sales Journey: Oversee quotation coordination, pricing governance, Statements of Work and commercial approval processes.
- Connecting the Business: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, IT and Operations to improve communication, accountability and customer handovers.
- Ensuring Operational Readiness: Help create a smooth transition from winning new business through to customer onboarding and service delivery.
- Driving Governance: Establish clear KPIs, service standards and processes that improve consistency, accountability and commercial control.
What We're Looking For
- You'll be a confident, commercially aware professional who understands how effective Sales Operations can transform business performance.
- Experience within technology services, IT asset lifecycle management, distribution, supply chain or complex B2B service environments would be particularly advantageous.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Proven experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Enablement or a similar leadership role.
- Strong experience with CRM systems, commercial reporting, pipeline management and sales forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- A track record of improving business processes, driving efficiencies and implementing automation.
- Experience managing commercial workflows, quotations, pricing structures or approval processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work across multiple business functions.
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
Why This Opportunity?
This is a chance to make a genuine impact on how a business operates. You'll have the opportunity to shape processes, influence commercial decision-making and build a more efficient, data-driven Sales Operations function. If you enjoy taking ownership, challenging inefficient ways of working and creating measurable improvements, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
