Epicor 9 Technical Consultant – Contract Circa £500 per day | Outside IR35 6 months + possible extension West Midlands, UK | On-site multiple days per week We’re supporting a client in the West Midlands who is looking for an experienced Epicor 9 Technical Consultant to join them on a contract basis.This role is Outside IR35 and requires a strong on-site presence (multiple days per week). It’s a hands-on engagement working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants and third-party partners to support and enhance a live Epicor ERP 9 environment.The Role You’ll take ownership of the technical development, configuration and integration of Epicor 9, helping to deliver stable and scalable ERP solutions.Key responsibilities include:
- Epicor 9 technical development, configuration and optimisation
- Customisations using Epicor tools (Customisation, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, forms)
- Report development using SSRS and Crystal Reports
- Integrations with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, web services, file-based)
- SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Supporting upgrades, patches and service packs
- Diagnosing and resolving issues across dev, test and production
- Proven hands-on experience as an Epicor 9 Technical Consultant
- Strong understanding of Epicor 9 architecture and development framework
- Solid SQL Server / T-SQL skills
- Experience delivering ERP integrations and reports
- Comfortable being on site several days per week in the West Midlands
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- Rate: Circa £500 per day
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months initially, with potential extension
- Location: West Midlands (on-site multiple days per week)
