Graduate Test Analyst

Our Engineering and Manufacturing client is looking for a Graduate Software Test Analyst to join the software team. This role will be focused on testing both embedded software, PC-based and mobile-based tools used for configuration and programming.

Graduate Software Test Analyst Role:

• Testing embedded software, PC-based software tools and mobile apps
• You will learn to analyse requirements and design tests to meet requirements.
• You will learn to write, maintain and execute manual and automated software tests that demonstrate that the product is fit for purpose.
• Automated tests may be implemented in a range of languages including Python, C#/ .Net and industrial languages such as IEC 61131 Structured Text
• Self-managing to meet demands across multiple teams wherever possible.
• Helping specify, design and build test rigs.
• Working within a tight-knit, supportive test team and as part of project teams. 

Graduate Software Test Analyst skills and experience:

• A good technical background with numerate A-levels and a numerate degree.
• Ideally, some programming experience
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail – to identify issues and bugs, including those that aren’t quite so obvious
• An appetite for ongoing learning and personal growth is a must
• Analytical skills – to collect information, categorise data, review results to identify patterns and trends
