Join our team to play a pivotal role in keeping Onsite and Logistics operations running smoothly. This hands-on role ensures jobs are scheduled efficiently, vehicles and equipment are allocated effectively, and engineers and internal teams stay coordinated. Acting as a key point of contact, the position supports fleet and logistics operations while resolving day-to-day operational challenges. Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule field engineer jobs, ensuring vehicles, equipment, and tools are allocated efficiently.
  • Assist with preparation of quotes and job documentation as required.
  • Act as primary liaison between field engineers and internal teams to maintain smooth operational workflow.
  • Monitor and resolve operational issues, escalating where necessary to minimise service disruption.
  • Support Logistics Operational Support with fleet management, vehicle maintenance scheduling, and logistics coordination.
  • Oversee vehicles and equipment during the Logistics Operational Support’s absence, ensuring assets remain operational and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate records of jobs, schedules, vehicle usage, and equipment availability.
  • Communicate operational requirements clearly to internal teams and field engineers.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to scheduling, logistics, and overall operational processes.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to meet customers and carry out surveys.
  • Manage resource scheduling and allocation within operational guidelines.
  • Escalate issues to the Transport Manager or Operations Management as appropriate.

Competencies & Behaviours:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise across multiple teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving to manage operational challenges efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling or resource management systems.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance scheduling is desirable.
