ERP Systems Administrator

Based on outskirts of Birmingham, £40m Turnover Business, On-Site Role 5 Days Per WeekWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ERP Systems Administrator to take ownership of our core financial system. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the ERP platform operates efficiently, securely, and in line with business needs.You will act as the central point of contact for all ERP-related activities, supporting users, maintaining data integrity, and driving continuous system improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration & Security* Manage the day-to-day operation of the Intacct ERP system across the organisation* Maintain user accounts, roles, and permissions* Ensure secure and appropriate access to system modules* Monitor system usage and user activityData Management & Integrity* Maintain accurate and reliable data across customers, suppliers, inventory, and financial records* Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reconciliation issues* Ensure ERP processes are followed to maintain system integrityUser Support & Issue Resolution* Provide first-line support for all ERP-related queries and issues* Troubleshoot system errors and identify root causes* Liaise with Intacct support to escalate and resolve complex issuesSystem Configuration & Improvements* Configure and maintain ERP modules (sales, purchase, nominal ledgers, and stock control)* Implement system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes* Manage and adapt workflows as business requirements evolve* Test and validate system changes prior to deploymentReporting & Analysis* Develop and maintain operational and financial reports* Extract and deliver data to support business reporting and decision-makingBusiness Support & Processes* Support month-end and year-end processes* Ensure the ERP system remains fully operational as a critical business toolTraining & Development* Train users on system functionality and best practices* Support onboarding of new employees onto the ERP systemAbout You* Proven experience administering an ERP system (Intacct experience preferred)* Strong understanding of finance processes (AP, AR, GL, stock)* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills* Confident working with data, reporting, and system configuration* Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users* Highly organised with strong attention to detailDesirable Skills* Experience with ERP reporting tools* Understanding of system integrations or data workflows* Experience supporting finance teams or working within a finance environmentGreenwell Gleeson Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.To find out more about how and why Greenwell Gleeson Ltd process your personal data in line with the data protection regime please go to the privacy notice on our website
