Finance Project Manager
Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Finance Project Manager to work with a leading business based in Solihull. This role will lead the delivery of strategic finance transformation projects, working closely with Finance, IT, Operations and senior stakeholders to improve finance processes, systems and reporting. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and achieve measurable business benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver finance transformation projects, managing timelines, resources and project plans.
Engage with Finance, IT, Operations and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Manage project governance, reporting, RAID logs, risks, issues and dependencies.
Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
Drive communication and change management activities to support successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Track project benefits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
Proven experience delivering finance transformation or business change projects.
Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Experience managing project governance, budgets and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, APM) and/or finance systems implementation experience would be advantageous.
