An excellent opportunity has become available with our client for a Business Development Manager based in Cardiff.

The Role:
Building strong relationships with clients is at the heart of everything the company does, starting from the very first interaction. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in converting prospective clients into new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound enquiries and potential sales opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business prospects through proactive lead generation
- Arrange and lead sales meetings to understand prospective client requirements
- Deliver product or service demonstrations to potential clients via online video calls
- Send follow-up information after demonstrations and manage opportunities through to win or loss
- Proactively approach new prospects and develop relationships
- Handle and respond to all prospect enquiries
- Convert marketing-generated leads into new business
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role
- Strong ability to build relationships both remotely and face-to-face
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised with strong self-motivation
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Confident and professional manner on the phone and during video calls
Desirable Experience:
- Experience selling services or solutions rather than physical products
- Exposure to sales within financial services, technology or software sectors (beneficial but not essential)
Package
- Basic salary around £40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
- Uncapped bonus / commission structure
- Excellent benefits package
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
