We are a leading provider of high-quality computer cabling, networking accessories, and connectivity solutions to businesses across the UK and Ireland. We're on the hunt for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to expand our client base and strengthen our market position.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key member of our sales team, you'll be instrumental in driving sales client loyalty. Your core responsibilities will include:
- New Business: Proactively identifying and engaging with potential clients (businesses, IT departments, resellers) through effective cold calling and targeted outreach to introduce our comprehensive range of computer cabling and accessories.
- Expert Account Management: Taking ownership of client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their IT connectivity needs. You'll manage existing accounts, identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Seamless Sales Operations: Efficiently managing the entire sales order processing cycle, from initial quotation to order confirmation.
- Strategic Lead Generation: Continuously researching and analysing the IT market to find new leads , identify emerging opportunities, and expand our pipeline of prospective clients.
- Precise CRM Management: Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and lead progression within our CRM system . Your data accuracy will be crucial for forecasting and strategic planning.
- Consistently striving to achieving and exceeding ambitious Group sales targets.
- Preparing compelling proposals and delivering professional presentations to prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborating internally with our technical support and warehouse teams to ensure an unparalleled customer experience.
- Staying informed about the latest trends in IT networking, cabling standards, and competitor offerings.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven sales experience (minimum 2 years), ideally within the IT or technology sector, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrable expertise in cold calling and generating new business leads.
- Solid experience in account management and building lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency in sales order processing and understanding of logistical coordination.
- A proactive approach to finding leads and market research.
- Excellent command of CRM software for accurate record-keeping and pipeline management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and results-driven with a resilient attitude.
- A genuine interest in IT infrastructure, computer networking, and connectivity solutions.
- Full UK driving licence (essential for client visits if required).
