Role Summary and Impact
The Programmatic Account Director will be responsible for managing client relationships and leading the activation team of managers and executives. They will oversee the full campaign lifecycle, including channel planning, setup, optimization, delivery, and reporting, primarily for an FMCG client focusing on branding campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management : Ensure best practice templates and processes are used; understand client pressures; identify suitable products and solutions; have a good understanding of digital media mix; drive in-channel learning; manage spend to maximize value.
- Client and Partner Management : Build relationships with key client contacts; maintain team reputation; oversee client audits; maintain relationships with media owners and tech partners; present confidently in pitches and meetings.
- People Management : Demonstrate leadership; develop case studies; ensure team training and development; foster strong relationships with stakeholders; promote team community activities.
- Operational Excellence : Deliver flawless campaign activation and billing; support QA processes; negotiate effectively for value.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in display activation and innovation.
- Experience with programmatic self-serve platforms like DV360, TTD, Amazon (nice to have).
- Ability to translate technical info for non-technical audiences; experience managing and developing teams; analytical skills; ability to develop testing strategies; excellent communication skills; culturally aware communication.
