Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote) – Join a Cutting-Edge Crypto-Tech Powerhouse

Are you a seasoned DevOps expert with a startup mindset and a passion for pushing the limits of performance and innovation? My client—a stealth-mode technology outfit founded by successful crypto entrepreneurs—is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help power the next generation of trading infrastructure.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, high-performing team backed by a single-family office with capital access akin to a hedge fund. You’ll be working with in-house patented tech, built from the ground up by elite engineers and coded primarily in Rust, deployed on a fully cloud-based stack optimised for low-latency and high-frequency trading.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Owning and scaling cloud infrastructure in high-performance computing environments
• Deploying with Terraform and optimising AWS services (IAM, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, MSK, Lambda, etc.)
• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and GitHub Actions
• Containerising with Docker and applying best practices for security and performance
• Monitoring and alerting using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Debugging complex systems using tools like strace, dtrace, and beyond
• Supporting a tech stack that includes Rust, Python, Go, C++, Java, and more

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering
• 3+ years in fast-moving startups (teams under 50 is a must)
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Unix/Linux system administration
• Solid scripting and automation chops
• Fluency in networking and security best practices
• Comfort working independently in a remote-first, high-accountability culture
• Bonus: experience with low-latency systems, HFT, or a personal interest in crypto
