About the Role
Guidant Global is supporting our client in hiring anexperienced Technical Author to produce, maintain and deliver high-quality technical documentation for a range of complex products and internal systems.
These roles are ideal for detail-driven technical writers who enjoy working collaboratively with engineers, product teams and subject-matter experts to create documentation that is clear, accurate and compliant with organisational standards.
- Maintain existing documentation, ensuring accuracy, relevance and compliance with company standards
- Create new design and build documents, technical specifications, user manuals and other supporting documentation
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to develop test plans and additional technical content
- Engage with subject-matter experts to gather accurate information and ensure documentation integrity
- Produce diagrams and illustrations using corporate drawing packages such as Visio and CorelDRAW
- Use Adobe Acrobat to create, edit and manage PDF documentation
