An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VIP Associate to join the team within the Tech portfolio at our Festivals division.
Our portfolio of events including London Tech Week, Africa Tech Festival and Asia Tech X Singapore not only bring the best minds in tech and telecoms, they connect international tech communities and leaders to address how access to tech can have a profoundly positive impact in society and business.
Renowned for the calibre and seniority of our VIP audience and our speaker faculties, our programmes consist of in-depth sessions borne out of months of industry research. We cover the topics that the industry wants to hear and feature the unique perspectives of the people they want to hear from.
We are now recruiting for a VIP Associate to be based in Central London with home working the majority of the week. Office days - Tuesdays and Thursdays, but flexible.
The VIP Associate is a motivated, resourceful and responsible individual who relishes in working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a small team. We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, outgoing professional who is a real team player and has excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
* Coordination of VIP activities in liaison with the Head of VIP and VIP Relations Manager.
* Expand the offering and strategy for the VIP audience in conjunction with the VIP team.
* Liaise with our VIP Relations Managers to invite VIPs to attend LTW365 events.
* Contact selected individuals by email to discuss attendance and securing their participation in various structured networking / social formats.
* Ensure VIPs are looked after and participate in the proposed networking/social programme.
* Ensure that VIPs have a superior customer experience throughout the campaign.
* Work with the event sponsors to maximise the participation of their clients in the event.
* Administration work in the lead up to the event, including registration system, calendar invites and excel lists for attendees of various networking functions within the event.
* Build strong relationships with these key VIPs to create brand commitment and loyalty.
* Help to organise VIP Dinners, Breakfast Briefings and Closed-Door Meetings and securing VIP attendance at these functions and formats.
* Support to deliver the One to One Meeting Service, (physical and digital) in conjunction with the sales team.
* Work closely with the team to validate the eligibility of incoming requests for VIP (and other key stakeholder) passes.

* Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and the ability to network with senior industry figures

* Proven ability to use initiative when required and to go 'above and beyond' in order to deliver excellent customer service.
