Guinness World Records are looking for a Business Analyst to work with its agile development team to enhance and test their internal bespoke platforms.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover .

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop effective working relationship with internal customers to understand new system features
  • Translate those requirements into user stories for sprints
  • Act as the customer representative within the development team
  • Oversee testing on behalf of the customer working with the junior tester
  • Provide regular progress updates to the customer
  • Provide helpdesk support as and when required

This role has direct customer engagement, so the candidate needs to have a positive, customer-friendly nature and the ability to deal face to face with customers.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with automated testing tools
  • Working in an Agile development team
  • Writing user stories
  • Experience of a variety of different industries and business processes
  • Experience dealing with public facing websites
  • Able to suggest creative solutions

Desirable

  • Experience working with teams in multiple time zones
