Our client, a top event company, specialising in technology connections for senior leaders, has an exciting opportunity for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their team!

Key skills/experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in sponsorship or B2B sales preferably within the technology or events industries.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
  • A deep understanding of the B2B technology and cybersecurity landscape (a plus).
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a flair for delivering persuasive presentations.

The role:

  • As the Sponsorship Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across the company’s portfolio of high-impact events.
  • You’ll build long-term relationships with leading tech companies, helping them align their brand with the industry’s most exclusive summits and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Strategic Sales: Develop and execute sponsorship sales strategies that exceed revenue targets and foster high-value long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research: Identify and qualify prospective sponsors leveraging in-depth industry knowledge to target decision-makers in tech and cybersecurity sectors.
  • Relationship Building: Build manage and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors acting as a trusted advisor to help them maximize their ROI.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to each prospect’s unique goals showcasing the value of partnering with EDS Brands.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Confidently negotiate contracts and close deals that drive growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and production teams to align sponsorship packages with event content ensuring sponsors receive premium exposure to their target audience.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools to track progress and report on key metrics.
