IT Support Engineer (Level 2–3 Progression)

We’re looking for a talented and proactive Level 2 IT Engineer who’s eager to grow into Level 3 responsibilities, with full training, mentorship, and professional certifications provided.
You’ll join a highly focused, friendly, and close-knit team that’s passionate about learning and constantly exploring new technologies.
You’ll be supporting a combination of Blue-Chip Exclusive Companies in London and high-profile Health Care Providers across England, delivering high-quality IT support and solutions.
This is a hands-on, varied role involving a mix of helpdesk support, remote troubleshooting, and on-site client visits.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Managing helpdesk tickets and providing remote desktop support.
 - Visiting client sites across England to resolve IT issues & new installs
 - Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
 - Setting up and maintaining Internet routers and UniFi access points.
 - Conducting Wi-Fi surveys and optimising wireless coverage.
 - Running and terminating CAT6 cabling where required.
 - Assisting in IT projects, installations, and infrastructure upgrades.
 
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Technically strong at Level 2 and ready to progress to Level 3.
 - Has at least 2 years’ experience in IT support (MSP experience a bonus).
 - Excellent on the phone — professional, friendly, and solution-focused.
 - A problem solver with a can-do attitude and a genuine enthusiasm to learn.
 - A car owner with a full UK driving licence, comfortable travelling throughout England.
 
- Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory.
 - Networking: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routers, switches.
 - Experience setting up Internet routers and UniFi access points.
 - Conducting Wi-Fi surveys and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
 - Remote desktop and ticketing systems.
 - Running or testing CAT6 cabling.
 - Training provided on Hyper-V and VMware for virtualisation environments.
 - Certified training opportunities available in other areas depending on experience and career goals.
