Executive Assistant
We are working with a small, friendly and ambitious law firm with exciting plans for growth, who are looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to support two senior partners.
This is a busy and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives on being organised, taking ownership and making life easier for those around them. No two days will be the same, and you will play a key role in keeping the partners and wider business running efficiently.
The role:
Working closely with two senior partners, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and prioritising the partners’ email inboxes and correspondence
- Organising meetings, diaries and competing priorities
- Taking ownership of tasks and projects to ensure the partners remain focused on their priorities
- Identifying and implementing new systems and processes to improve efficiency
- Supporting the development and management of IT systems
- Maintaining and updating website content
- Assisting with HR projects and initiatives
- Coordinating new starter processes, including onboarding and setting up systems and access
- Preparing and sending employment contracts and other documentation
- Providing general administrative and operational support across the business
About you:
- We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to use their initiative and take ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.
- You will be someone who naturally looks for ways to improve processes, anticipates what the partners need and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills are important, and previous HR experience or exposure to HR processes would be highly advantageous.
- Secretarial and audio typing skills would be advantageous, but not essential
- Experience within a professional services or legal environment would also be beneficial, although attitude, organisation and initiative are key.
The opportunity:
This is a genuinely varied opportunity within a growing firm where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact. The role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys being hands-on, likes variety and wants to work closely with senior people in a role where their contribution is valued.
The role is hybrid, with car parking available, alongside the firm's usual benefits package.
If you are an organised, proactive Executive Assistant looking for a role where you can really take ownership and make a difference, we would be very keen to hear from you.
