Your new role
This is a high-impact, commercially focused opportunity working directly with a high-calibre CFO, offering a genuine platform to develop toward a future Finance Director position. You will play a central role in shaping the direction of the finance function, driving best practice, and embedding a more forward-looking, insight-led approach.You will be responsible for leading continuous improvement across finance, driving innovation in processes, reporting, and decision support. The role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations, ensuring finance is positioned as a true commercial partner to the business. Acting as a trusted right hand to the CFO, you will help define strategy, influence key decisions, and implement new ways of working that support growth and scalability.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience operating in complex, high-growth or multi-entity environments, ideally within technology, SaaS, or software. You will bring strong commercial acumen, with the ability to partner effectively across the business and influence senior stakeholders. Just as importantly, you will have the presence, drive, and ambition to step into a broader leadership role, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering tangible business outcomes.
