Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‐to‐end implementation of new financial systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and best‐practice accounting principles.
- Extract, analyse, and interpret business and financial data to support system design and decision‐making.
- Review, test, and refine system customisation, ensuring robust controls, accurate consolidation, and efficient workflows.
- Develop and embed process controls, approval hierarchies, and reporting structures.
- Deliver training, guidance, and documentation to finance and non‐finance teams across the business.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure system outputs support inventory management, product costing, distribution processes, and stock validation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive enhancements post‐implementation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven background in system implementation within a finance environment.
- Strong understanding of consolidation, process controls, and approval workflows.
- Ability to extract, interpret, and translate financial and operational data into actionable system requirements.
- Experience managing full project lifecycles—from scoping and configuration through to testing, rollout, and training.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and support colleagues across the organisation.
- Knowledge of inventory controls, product and distribution processes, and stock validation.
- Experience working in multi‐site or product‐based businesses.
