Location: London, with occasional travel to Manchester and Birmingham
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm Hybrid (at least 3 days on site)

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits.
We're looking for a Clinical Safety Officer to join our team based in London.

Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Safety Officer, you'll be the trusted guardian of patient safety in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. You'll lead the creation of clinical risk management plans, set the standard for safe technology adoption, and ensure every system meets the highest safety benchmarks. Your influence will span investigations, policy development and strategic input on cutting-edge digital solutions. Collaborating with product owners and informatics leaders, you will drive transformation and innovation whilst keeping safety at the heart of everything we do.

Job responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Reporting and Assurance ensure all digital health applications and IT systems developed, procuredor deployed by HCA comply with the required regulationsDCB0129 andDCB0160
- Patient Safety - ensure that clinical patient safety remains the priority throughout any digital transformation change programmes and that all staff enhance patient safety during such times, not compromise it.
- Risk and Issues Management be responsible for maintaining robust processes that identify any potential patient safety risks.
- Stakeholder Management build strong, strategic relationships to ensure programme priorities are clearly understood and aligned with clinicians and patients, without compromising safety.
Person Specification
Experience
- What you'll bring:
- A current registration with GMC, NMC or equivalent recognised professional body for AHP
- Formal training in Clinical Risk Management aligned to NHS Standards
- Completion of NHS England Digital Clinical Safety training or equivalent CPD accredited courses covering: CSO Practitioner Training, Hazard Identification and Risk Mitigation, Clinical Safety Case Reports and Hazard logs, Compliance with DTAC
- Extensive experience as a Registered Healthcare Professional
- Hands on experience in Digital Health Systems implementation, deployment or transformation
- Proven ability to apply DCB0129 and DCB0160 standards
- Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder management relationships and implement change
