Job description

In this role you will be responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. You will work together with senior management to build an account plan and hold responsibility for client management based on the account plan. Requires good understanding of market and competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and apply sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with project teams.

It is client relationship management and business development: manage client relationships, build a portfolio up to $30-40M or Plus, own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.

Extension, Expansion, Engagement & Adoption:

  • Responsible for developing proposals and working with relevant internal and external stakeholders in helping develop final of scope of work from both standardized and customized offerings approach from Sales, delivery and practice.
  • Oversee complete life cycle of account management post closure of statement of work and provide visibility to management on booking, billing and funnel growth and responsible for overseeing all client lifecycle activities in partnership with Alliances team Solution/Practice Experts, Delivery/Engineering and Offering Teams.
  • Develop a deep client relationship by establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to across all levels of client contacts including the key C-level executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate exceptional levels of governance and engagement at all levels with key stakeholders and regular onsite Executive Business Review meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
  • Able to identify opportunities of growth in the account and prepare account strategy and planning. Should regularly monitor trends, market dynamics and incorporate them into existing account strategy and plan.
  • Identifying and grooming team members and build teams into future leaders.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field with MBA or Master's in the technical area being highly desirable or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of account management/selling experience current experience.
  • 6+ years of previous IT Services experience including project management, delivery and account management.
  • Proven experience with sales or consulting to any of these Line of Business : Retail / CPG / TELCO / Media /Entertainment (gaming) / Hi-tech/Online /TELCO-OEM
  • History of achieving/overachieving sales targets.
  • Experience in software services contract negotiations.
  • Experience with competitor mapping and SWOT analysis.
  • Ability to define specific to ground-breaking solutions within abstract environments
  • Well networked within the IT services industry.
  • Ability to identify upcoming RFPs / deals by networking with key client partners
