Advanced Release & Dependency Management

  • Program Increment (PI) Planning at Scale: Design and facilitate PI planning ceremonies for SAFe-based organizations supporting multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs); ensure dependencies are surfaced, managed, and resolved; build realistic capacity plans accounting for technical debt and spike work
  • Release Coordination & Commit Management: Oversee end-to-end release schedules from development through production deployment; manage commit signoffs across teams; coordinate security, performance, and compliance approvals; implement release quality gates with zero-defect mentality
  • Geographic & Vendor Coordination: Manage onshore/offshore team coordination across APAC, EMEA, and Americas time zones; serve as single point of contact (POC) with third-party vendors and system integrators; establish governance for vendor deliverables and SLA enforcement
  • Complex Dependency Resolution: Identify cross-program dependencies; develop mitigation strategies for high-risk dependency chains; escalate blockers that span multiple teams; drive technical working sessions to unblock complex integration challenges

Organizational Transformation & Agile Adoption

  • SAFe Transformation Leadership: Champion Agile and Lean practices adoption at scale; drive PI planning, ART synchronization, and program-level continuous improvement; serve as change agent for cultural transformation required for Agile maturity
  • Process Innovation & Metrics-Driven Improvement: Define and track program-level KPIs (velocity, quality, deployment frequency, lead time); establish feedback loops from teams and stakeholders; conduct program retrospectives and implement systemic improvements
  • Risk, Financial, & Operational Excellence: Manage program risks with proactive mitigation planning; oversee financial controls and budget forecasting for multi-year initiatives; drive operational efficiency through process redesign and tooling optimization
  • Capability Building & Team Mentorship: Mentor technical leads and project managers; foster inter-team collaboration and knowledge sharing; build communities of practice around key technical domains
