Microsoft D365 FSCM Senior Functional Consultant - (Manufacturing)

HCL Techs Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft D365 F&SCM Senior Functional Consultant to join our award-winning and growing team.

The ideal candidate will have worked on multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM projects, with extensive experience in delivering full lifecycle Manufacturing implementations.

You should be a confident communicator, and a strong coordinator, whilst being able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. You should also have experience of managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and understand business processes and prepare detailed business requirements and process maps
• Analyse client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients requirement and objectives
• Convert Customer requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents
• Configure, test, and demonstrate all aspects and processes within D365 SCM
• Participate in handling System Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, End User Training, UAT, Cutover and Go Live
• Participate in the definition and configuration of data migration activities for the respective modules and understanding of the underlying data entities that make up the SCM modules
• Participate in the development of functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, perform SIT testing
• Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during iterations
• Design and develop D365 SCM solutions for clients making best use of Standard functionality in each respective module
• Work closely with clients and other team members to define, design, and align the business application to the business requirements
• Manage and deliver small projects independently and can work productively un-monitored
• Lead other consultants in delivering according to client expectations; take ownership of successful completion of deliverables and projects
• Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions
• Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans; take personal ownership of the success of deliverables and projects
• Provide weekly status reporting to Solution Architect, Technical Architect, and Project Management

Skills and Experience:

• Solid D365 FSCM functional experience
• Extensive experience in Manufacturing/production forecasting processes, D365 Master Planning (MRP) & D365 Production Module
• Ability to act as a functional lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities.
• Able to support or lead functional workshops with customers, documenting requirements and designing appropriate solutions
• Business Process Mapping: Ability to map and analyze business processes and translate them into Dynamics 365 functionalities.
• Configuration and Customization: Skills in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&SCM modules to fit business needs.
• Excellent communication skills, along with good analysis and documentation skills
• Experience using DevOps for tracking deliverables, risks, and issues
• Experience working on key supply chain module areas, such as: Procurement Cycle, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Engineering Change Mgmt, Quality Control, Distribution, Transportation, and the Sales Cycle
• Experience on at least 3-4 end to end implementation projects and awareness typical implementation methodologies for Dynamics projects
• Excellent communication skills, along with good analysis and documentation skills
• A positive and can-do approach
• Experience working in a collaborative environment
• Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
• Ability to work remotely and on customer site; regular travel expected
• Appropriate Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
