Job Title: Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant
Remote role
6 Months contract
Required: Minimum 5 years of continuous UK residency
Travelling: The project is primarily based in Scotland, with work centered around Glasgow and Edinburgh. While most responsibilities can be managed remotely, there is an expectation of travelling to the client's office as needed
Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant to join their Shared Services Program. This program, which went live in October 2024, encompasses HR, ERP, and EPM modules and serves over 20,000 users. The role will focus on ongoing support for the live system, implementing enhancements, managing regular Oracle upgrades (monthly and quarterly), and expanding the system's reach to additional Scottish Government entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for the live operational system across HR, ERP, and EPM modules.
- Deliver system enhancements and improvements as required.
- Manage and coordinate Oracle monthly and quarterly upgrades.
- Extend the Oracle Cloud solution to additional Scottish Government bodies.
Required Skills and Qualification s
- Mandatory: Minimum of 5 years UK residency. Candidates must be in the UK.
- Proven experience developing Cloud integrations using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), specifically within Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance modules.
Work Location and Travel
- The primary project location is Scotland, with work based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. While most tasks will be performed remotely, travel to the client office is expected as part of the role. The base location will be the nearest IBM office, and expenses will be reimbursed for travel to offices other than the designated base.
