Experience : 10+ years in Oracle DBA roles, 2+ years with Exadata or Cloud@Customer

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer DBA Administrator to manage and support our Oracle database infrastructure hosted on Exadata Cloud@Customer. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Oracle Database technologies, performance tuning, patching, backups, and Cloud@Customer operations. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities and good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer environments.

Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.

Optimize database performance and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Implement and manage backup/recovery strategies (e.g., RMAN, Data Guard).

Troubleshoot complex issues involving database, Exadata infrastructure, and cloud integration.

Collaborate with Oracle support for service requests and escalations.

Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or Oracle tools (e.g., OEM, DBMS_SCHEDULER).

Maintain security policies and ensure compliance with standards.

Provide support for migration projects and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications:

Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard.

Deep understanding of Exadata architecture and administration (cells, compute nodes, InfiniBand, etc.).

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related tools.
