Senior Program Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale engineering programs from concept to delivery. This role requires deep technical understanding, strong leadership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

· Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end execution of engineering programs, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.

· Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams to define architecture, design, and technical requirements.

· Roadmap & Planning: Develop detailed program plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

· Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with product management, design, QA, and operations to ensure seamless delivery.

· Risk Management: Identify technical and operational risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

· Process Improvement: Establish best practices for engineering program management, including Agile/Scaled Agile frameworks.

· Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies.

· Budget & Resource Management: Manage program budgets and optimize resource utilization across multiple engineering teams.

· Innovation Enablement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Experience: 18+ years in engineering and program management, with at least 8+ years in leadership roles.

· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field; PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification preferred.

· Technical Expertise:

o Strong understanding of software/hardware development lifecycle.

o Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.

· Leadership: Proven ability to lead large, distributed engineering teams and manage complex programs.

· Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent program management tools.

· Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.

Preferred Attributes

· Experience in product development, platform engineering, or digital transformation programs.

· Ability to balance technical depth with strategic vision.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
