Teleoperations Specialist
Role Overview – Step in to the Future as a Teleoperator
Ready to combine physical activity, cutting-edge technology, and real-world impact? As a Teleoperator, you’ll operate advanced robotic systems using immersive VR headsets, gloves, and motion-tracking tools—turning your real-world movements into the actions that train next-generation robots and AI systems.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and loves working with VR technology. You’ll move, think, and engage in ways that bring together fitness, focus, and futuristic innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Use VR headsets and gloves to control high-tech robotics with precision
- Convert human motion into robotic action—your movements shape how robots learn
- Perform structured, repeatable tasks that support the development of advanced AI models
- Stay fully immersed using live video feeds, depth cues, and system feedback
- Engage in active, full-body motion: bending, squatting, reaching, standing, and sitting during VR sessions, includes walking outside VR
- Handle and transport robot batteries (25–30 lbs) to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Prep and calibrate robot workstations to ensure smooth handoff between operators
- Meet daily quotas and quality benchmarks with accuracy and consistency
- Spot issues like tracking drift, unusual robot behavior, or hardware problems
- Record session details, observations, and anomalies in tracking tools
- Organize, validate, label, and upload high-quality robotics data
- Track configuration changes in software, hardware, and environment setups
- Perform basic system checks—sensor alignment, connectivity, calibration
- Communicate technical issues clearly to engineering teams
- Follow safety guidelines, ergonomic best practices, and equipment protocols
- Continuously learn through training and support improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with teammates to raise performance and data quality
