We are seeking a Teradata Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the migration of a Global Data Warehouse (GDW) from Teradata to a cloud-based data platform. The role will play a critical part in assessment, design, migration planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the Teradata SME for the GDW migration programme.

- Analyse existing Teradata architecture, data models, workloads, and dependencies.

- Support migration from Teradata to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and stakeholders.

- Ensure data quality, validation, and performance optimisation.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years of Teradata experience in enterprise environments.

- Proven experience migrating Teradata to cloud platforms.

- Strong SQL and data warehousing expertise.

- Right to work in the UK.

Desirable:

- Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.

- Cloud or Teradata certifications.
