Test lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to manage and oversee the testing lifecycle for complex projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of testing methodologies, and hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders (Development, Product, Business) to ensure clarity on requirements and quality expectations.
• Oversee test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement in testing practices.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 12+ years in software testing, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Expertise in manual testing and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr).
• Hands-on experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
