Sales Director, Government Sector Location: London, UK / Hybrid Remote – attend office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. About the Role: The role focuses on expanding HERE’s Enterprise SaaS footprint across large government organisations and the public sector in the UK, building on success in the U.S. The Sales Director will drive new business, create pipelines, and manage opportunities, while communicating the platform’s value proposition and ensuring adoption. Responsibilities Build and mature a pipeline with proactive prospecting, effective contact, and strategic account networking. Execute sales campaigns, achieve annual sales targets using a measurable process, and communicate opportunity progression. Cultivate and sustain client relationships throughout the sales cycle. Provide solutions consulting: develop insights into industry trends, enterprise challenges, and digital transformation, and apply them to customer-specific needs. Develop deep product knowledge and communicate value to senior stakeholders, represent HERE at industry events, and support lead generation strategies. Qualifications At least 8 years of direct enterprise SaaS sales experience in the government and/or public sector. Proven ability to command sell to the UK and understand the government ecosystem. Experience generating and closing large, enterprise-level platform deals independently. Strong technical acumen and ability to articulate value propositions to diverse audiences. Excellent stakeholder management and end-to-end sales process execution. Experience collaborating with partners for lead generation and opportunity co‐sourcing.
