Purpose of the jobThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in how we deliver modern, reliable and colleague-focused People + Talent systems across HH Global. As our People + Talent Systems Specialist, you will help shape and improve the way we use Dayforce across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance, development and offboarding.
You will be trusted to bring technical expertise, curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset to a pivotal role that blends system configuration, data, process design and stakeholder partnership. By designing practical solutions and improving how our systems work, you will help create a smoother, more connected and more positive experience for colleagues and People + Talent teams around the world.
Key responsibilitiesAct as a key specialist for Dayforce across Recruitment, Onboarding, Core HR, Workforce Management, Learning, Performance, Compensation and Payroll, helping to keep our People + Talent systems running smoothly and effectivelyLead day-to-day system administration, including user roles, security permissions, configuration updates and system environment maintenanceDesign, configure and enhance system processes, workflows, notifications and integrations so they support business needs and improve colleague experienceSupport Dayforce upgrades, service packs and enhancements by completing user acceptance testing, regression testing and configuration checksUse SQL, XML and HTML to help deliver practical, well-controlled system solutions that improve efficiency and support operational excellenceMaintain strong change management and compliance controls, ensuring system changes are documented, tested, approved and implemented appropriatelyPartner with teams such as IT, Finance, Internal Audit and People + Talent to resolve issues, improve processes and deliver clear, consistent solutionsIdentify, investigate and resolve system issues, bugs and data problems, escalating where needed and keeping stakeholders informedBe a trusted subject matter expert for Dayforce, providing technical guidance and helping the wider team understand system changes, opportunities and best practiceSupport projects from requirements gathering through to delivery, including creating user guides, standard operating procedures and clear training materialsReview current ways of working and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen compliance and improve the accuracy of colleague dataDevelop and deliver training for different user groups, adapting content so it is practical, accessible and easy to understandBuild effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to support high-quality delivery and ongoing service improvementAct as a key link between People + Talent and business functions, helping to resolve technology, data and access issues while maintaining GDPR and confidentiality standardsSupport change initiatives, acquisitions, legal entity rationalization, and business transformation projects by providing system expertise, testing support and clear communicationBring curiosity, tenacity and a continuous improvement mindset to help solve problems, improve the colleague experience and deliver reliable People + Talent systems services Knowledge, skills + experienceExperience working in People + Talent Operations, People + Talent Systems or a similar people technology role, ideally in a global organizationStrong knowledge of HRIS or ERP platforms, with hands-on Dayforce experience highly preferredRelevant HRIS certifications, preferably in Dayforce, would be an advantageProven experience configuring HR systems, including workflows, notifications, reporting, integrations and system settingsGood working knowledge of SQL, XML and HTML, with the ability to apply these skills to practical system solutionsStrong understanding of People + Talent data, reporting, archiving and colleague file management requirementsExperience using Power BI or similar reporting tools, including creating dashboards and insight-led reportingConfident communicator with fluent English language skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to different audiencesStrong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft 365 tools, with experience using helpdesk or CRM systems considered a plusSelf-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to improve processes, meet service levels and deliver against agreed objectivesAble to make sound decisions with urgency, balancing service quality, business priorities and colleague needsExcellent listener and communicator, with the ability to respond to queries clearly, professionally and with empathyTrusted to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with care, discretion and good judgementCurious and solution-focused, with the ability to ask the right questions, understand root causes and recommend practical options or resourcesCollaborative and supportive, with a willingness to share knowledge, help others and build strong working relationships across teamsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, combined with learning agility and a commitment to resolving issues effectively#LI-PL1#LI-HybridPayTypeSalary
