About the Employer

HOME-START SUTTON
Home-Start Sutton is an independent local charity that supports families with at least one child under the age of five living in the London Borough of Sutton. We believe that children need a happy, secure childhood and that parents play the key role in giving them the best start in life. Raising young children can be challenging, isolating, and overwhelming. Home-Start Sutton steps in to help families facing difficulties such as mental health issues, isolation, domestic abuse, financial hardship, or disability. We recruit and train local volunteers to provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and confidential support. By visiting families in their own homes, welcoming them to our peer-support groups, or delivering structured parenting courses, we help parents build confidence, increase resilience, and strengthen their relationships with their children. Home-Start Sutton has been supporting families for nearly 42 years. By choosing to apply for this role, you are choosing to become an essential building block for early childhood support making a lasting difference that extends far beyond the time we spend with families.
