Data Analyst Apprenticeship Programme
Our Data Science and Analytics Team helps colleagues across Howden turn complex information into meaningful insights that drive better business decisions.
As an apprentice, you'll learn how to work with real business data, uncover patterns, solve problems and create valuable reports and dashboards.
Role
- Gain exposure to both data analytics and data science, helping you understand how analysis, reporting and data models can be used to solve different business problems.
- Support a range of live data projects for different areas of the Retail business.
- Analyse datasets to understand what the information is telling us, looking for patterns, trends, gaps or unusual results that may need further investigation.
- Clean, organise and check data before it is analysed, spotting errors or inconsistencies and helping make sure the information is accurate and reliable.
- Learn how to turn your findings into clear reports for key business stakeholders.
- Build your technical skills by learning to use tools such as Power BI, SQL and Python.
Training
Our apprentices join Howden on permanent contracts from day one. After successfully completing the 18-month programme, you'll transition out of the apprenticeship and continue developing your skills, expertise and career within your chosen area of the business.
