Key Responsibilities:

• Commissioning, testing, and configuring security systems, including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire systems

• Ensuring all systems are fully operational and meet the required standards before handover

• Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely project delivery and smooth handovers

• Performing system upgrades and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Fault-finding and troubleshooting on-site

• Providing technical support and guidance to clients and engineers

• Completing and maintaining accurate commissioning reports

• Ensuring all installations are done in compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Commissioning Engineer or similar role in the security industry

• Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire systems

• Familiarity with system integration and network-based solutions

• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in the security industry

• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members

• Full UK driving licence

• Relevant industry certifications are desirable (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, NSI, etc.)
