Rate: up to circa £800/day Umbrella

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to lead delivery across the Business Risk & Regulatory (BRR) Technology workstack within a global banking environment. This is a priority role focused on accelerating strategic outcomes, driving innovation, and ensuring successful execution across a complex portfolio of technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong consulting background, deep expertise in AI-led transformation, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-technology programmes within highly regulated financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic programmes within the BRR Technology portfolio

Define, document, and implement programme scope, approach, and delivery roadmap

Translate business challenges into technology solutions, with a particular focus on AI-driven outcomes

Drive measurable business value through AI adoption and transformation initiatives

Provide leadership across multi-technology landscapes, including SaaS platforms, AWS/cloud, and data ecosystems

Manage complex stakeholder environments, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and risk functions

Embed strong governance, controls, and delivery discipline in line with global banking standards

Contribute expertise to shape and enhance the overall BRR technology workstack strategy

Oversee programme execution to ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and achieving defined outcomes

Key Requirements

Experience

Senior Programme Manager with extensive experience in global banking or financial services

Background in consulting / advisory roles, with exposure to large-scale transformation programmes

Proven delivery experience across multiple technologies, including:

SaaS platforms

AWS / cloud environments

Data platforms and analytics

Demonstrated success delivering programmes involving AI/ML solutions

Ability to evidence how AI initiatives have:

Solved business problems

Improved performance

Delivered tangible, measurable outcomes

Skills & Expertise

Deep understanding of AI technologies and their application in business and risk domains

Strong capability in programme planning, structuring, and execution

Expertise in data-driven transformation and analytics-led delivery

Ability to operate at a strategic level while maintaining delivery focus

Excellent stakeholder management at senior/executive levels

Strong documentation skills – able to clearly define scope, approach, and outcomes
