D365 CE Services Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Technical Architect to deliver the technical solution that fits with overall technical design.
  • Define project Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy.
  • Manage DevOps: repositories, branching, solutions, build and release pipelines.
  • Ownership of complex development items: C# plugins, JavaScript, PCF controls, and custom pages.
  • Perform Tech design and customisation/code review/QA ensuring best practice coding standards are met.
  • Identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks.
  • For large projects, allocate development work to developers, manage development team on daily basis.
  • Manage application issues both related to standard and bespoke code.
  • Making sure that development satisfies the customer's functional, technical and business requirements (FDDs & IDDs).
  • Production of Technical Design Documents.
  • Management and definition of environment landscape to fit project needs.
  • To attend weekly project update call and give development update to wider project team.
  • To be an active member of the HSO CE Services Teamfocussedon implementing D365 solutionsatour customers. This includes engaging with external customers to understand and shape requirements to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • To support sales and the pre-sales team to ensure workable solutions for prospects are being promoted.
  • Owns technical delivery on projects, with the ability to deep dive into the technical inquiries on proposed solution.
  • To produce architecture and design documentation to agreed HSO standards.
  • To understand the HSO project deliverymethodologyand apply this implementation approach to all HSO Projects.
  • To work closely with project teams and act as a point of reference/escalation during the implementation, particularly through go-live advising/improving on scalability and performance of the solution.
  • Act as a Technical lead and mentor colleagues to share knowledge.
  • Plan and execute wave release updates.
