I'm working with a leading national law firm to find a Senior Associate specialising in commercial law, with a focus on data privacy and technology. Here’s what you need to know:

We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join their high-performing commercial team in Manchester. In this role, you’ll focus on data privacy and technology, managing a diverse caseload while contributing to the team’s reputation for excellence. Key responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on data privacy compliance, including data sharing, processing arrangements, and legal strategies.

• Drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of technology contracts, such as SaaS licences, consultancy agreements, and IT outsourcing.

• Supporting corporate teams with data protection due diligence and disclosures.

• Participating in firm-wide marketing initiatives, such as publishing articles and delivering webinars on emerging topics like AI.

• Building and maintaining client relationships, while taking an active role in business development.
