Senior Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Business Development Representative to drive pipeline growth and strategic outbound initiatives. This is not an entry-level BDR role we need someone who can build targeted outreach strategies, open complex accounts, and consistently generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.

You will play a key role in accelerating revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, events)
  • Identify and target decision-makers within mid-market and enterprise accounts
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities (SQLs) aligned with ICP criteria
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand business needs and pain points
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transition opportunities effectively
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking
  • Refine messaging and outreach sequences based on performance data
  • Mentor junior BDRs (if applicable)

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in business development or sales development
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding pipeline or meeting targets
  • Experience selling B2B products/services (SaaS experience preferred if relevant)
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, BANT)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Data-driven approach to outreach and optimization
  • Experience targeting enterprise accounts
  • Experience in consultative selling

Experience working in high-growth or startup environments

Leadership or mentoring experience is desirable.

This role is also fully remote, so you would need to be comfortable at home.
