Lead the design and governance of technology solutions across a complex architecture landscape. Partnering with architects, engineers, analysts and product teams, you will promote best practice, drive continuous improvement and help deliver innovative solutions that create business value.
Key ActionsShape and define end-to-end technology solutions across products, platforms and applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, development standards and strategic objectivesAct as the architectural lead for complex initiatives, providing expert guidance and resolving technical and solution design challengesLead, mentor and support Solution Architects, promoting architectural best practice and consistency across the enterprise journeyProvide subject matter expertise for new initiatives and product enhancements, contributing to solution feasibility, estimation and technical decision-makingOwn the creation, governance and maintenance of Solution Design documentation, securing appropriate review and approval throughout the delivery lifecycleDrive the development and adoption of architecture standards, design patterns and governance processes as a member of the Enterprise Architecture communityPartner with delivery, product and engineering teams to support projects and enhancements from inception through to implementationSupport incident and problem management activities, leading root cause analysis and defining sustainable technical solutionsCollaborate closely with engineering teams to promote continuous improvement across design, development, testing, deployment and operational supportBuild strong relationships with business stakeholders, third-party suppliers and technology partners to ensure successful solution delivery and alignment across the wider organisationWhat do you need to thrive?
Extensive Solution Architecture experience across complex enterprise environmentsStrong knowledge of modern technologies including Java, .NET, JavaScript, microservices, containers, databases and cloud platformsProven ability to design scalable solutions across multiple products, applications and technical domainsExpertise in architecture governance, design standards, patterns and solution assuranceExperience producing and maintaining high-quality solution design documentationStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience working within Agile environments, ideally SAFe frameworksAbility to provide technical leadership, coaching and support to architects and engineering teamsSelf-motivation, accountability and a continuous improvement mindsetSo, what's in it for you?
