The roleAs a Senior Business Analyst at Kainos, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that the solutions we deliver meet the real needs of our customers and their users.
You'll work closely with delivery teams, product colleagues, and clients to understand complex business needs, articulate problems clearly, and design cost-effective digital solutions that make a tangible difference.
Sitting between business and technology, you'll translate ambiguity into clarity - helping teams move forward with confidence, purpose, and shared understanding.
What you'll be doingLeading analysis activities to ensure solutions meet user and business needsArticulating problems and processes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersFacilitating workshops and discussions to drive alignment and decision-makingTranslating business requirements into clear, actionable user storiesManaging and refining backlogs to ensure priorities and value are well understoodModelling as-is and to-be business processes to support change and buy-inSupporting delivery teams to design cost-effective, high-quality solutionsBuilding trusted relationships with stakeholders and delivery teamsWorking within commercial and delivery constraints while maintaining qualityWhat we're looking forExperience delivering bespoke software in agile teams for external clientsUK public sector or healthcare experience (essential)Strong understanding of the full delivery lifecycle, from analysis through to live serviceExcellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge constructivelyHigh-quality user story writing and backlog management experienceStrong business process modelling and facilitation skillsBroad understanding of business and technology, with awareness of industry trendsComfortable working to tight deadlines in complex environmentsExperience working in multi-disciplinary delivery teamsEmbracing our differences At Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
