Essential Skills (Across the court/ track/ ground/ pitch):
- Strong programming exposure with Go/ Golang or similar (such as Rust, Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, C++ etc)
- Understanding of AWS to build pipelines.
- Understanding of high-performance machine critical systems; ideally a sports trading platform or similar (financial trading/ banking/ air traffic platforms etc)
- Strong problem-solving mindset with an analytical, systems-focused approach
Bonus skills (100-point game, hat-trick, podium finish, Grand Slam):
- Proven success with sports data/ the sports trading domain
- Genuine passion for sports and a curiosity-driven approach to understanding sports data
Day-to-Day Duties (Throughout the venue):
- Design, develop and analyse multiple high-performance sports trading and analytics platforms, whilst enabling global sports data to connect to it simultaneously
- Work with wider teams to add features, improve performance and increase reliability
- Contribute to CI/CD, security and long-term technical direction
- Innovate internal research projects exploring new metrics, analytical methods and applications of sport data
