Senior Engineering Team Lead? Hybrid(2 days in office) | PermanentWe're partnering with an established technology business undergoing a major platform transformation and looking to hire a Senior Engineering Team Lead to drive technical delivery, architecture, and team development.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll split your time between building scalable software, setting technical direction, and helping engineers grow and succeed.What you'll be doing? Leading a product-focused engineering squad? Driving architecture, system design, and engineering best practice? Working closely with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and delivery? Remaining hands-on with development, code reviews, and complex technical challenges? Coaching and mentoring engineers through regular 1-1s and career development? Championing modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development tools? Collaborating with wider engineering teams on platform-wide initiativesWhat we're looking for6+ years' experience building production softwarePrevious technical leadership experience within an engineering teamStrong backend development skills in C#/.NET (or Java, Kotlin, Go)Experience with React, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworksStrong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectureCloud experience (AWS preferred)CI/CD and modern software delivery experienceStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPassion for mentoring and developing engineersNice to haveEnterprise systems or integration experiencePrevious people management responsibilitiesExperience with platform modernisation or transformation programmesExposure to ERP, CRM, or other business-critical platformsWhy join?
