Halian is currently supporting a multi-national and award-winning organisation who are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to create exceptional customer experiences and work on cutting-edge technology!

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance core applications. Whilst overseeing multiple teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Location: South East/Remote.

Salary: up to £95,000 + + competitive benefits, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Experience building and shipping large scale applications
• Knowledge of Java AND OR Kotlin
• A solid understanding of AWS OR GCP
• Experience with TDD and pain programming.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience leading engineering decisions in a complex environment and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
• CI/CD in complex environments.
• Proven track record of creating highly performance, scalable applications
• Must have leadership experience.
