Halliday Marx have partnered with a well known Media business to hire a Finance Manager on an interim basis for 9 months. This role focuses on Management reporting and systems.

Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

Responsibilities

• Managing a team
• You will review consolidated monthly and quarterly management reporting across multiple entities
• Key liaison between group finance teams, finance stakeholders, and technical teams
• Advise on trends and insights to aid informed decision making based on historical performance
• Full-year forecast to inform insights
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis from a group perspective
• Helping improve month-end reporting
• Ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timely loading of data from and in to core financial systems (SAP S/4 and BPC), ensuring robust validation processes are in place.
• Partner with system owners and teams across Finance, Technology, and other business functions to align on system enhancements, simplify processes, and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
• Support audit, compliance, and control activities by ensuring system processes meet internal and external regulatory standards.
• Work closely with the outsource provider to manage and resolve system defects, ensuring service levels are met and issues are escalated and tracked appropriately.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for annual SAP Service Pack upgrades and bi-annual disaster recovery (DR) exercises, ensuring business continuity and system resilience.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• SAP experience is crucial
